Shaquille O’Neal sent his compliments to LeBron James when James surpassed the scoring totals of every other NBA player. LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in terms of lifetime scoring during the game that the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
Shaquille O’Neal complimented LeBron James, but he also asked the Lakers superstar about his long-term goals in light of the fact that he is currently the highest scorer in the NBA.
“Congratulations. I remember coming to watch you perform when you were a senior in high school and you were 18 years old. I am well aware of the person you are as well as the type of player you are.”
“Having said that, do you ever think to yourself, “Now that I have the record, I know I can play at least two or three more years, Imma try to push this record, and nobody is going to break it?”
