IND VS AUS: Prior to the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy tournament, former Indian cricket team player Wasim Jaffer reportedly voiced his viewpoint over Cricket Australia’s decision. He is interested in hiring Ravichandran Ashwin’s identical twin as a net spinner.
Wasim Jaffer believes this despite the fact that the initial test is still five days away. Ashwin is already at the forefront of the Australians’ minds. During Australia’s past two trips to India for national teams, Ravichandran Ashwin caused a lot of difficulty for them. Mahesh Pithiya is a bowler who is comparable to Ashwin in style.

IND VS AUS: Wasim Jaffer responded to Mahesh Pithiya:
In a clip of their practice sessions that Cricket Australia posted on Twitter. The batsmen can be seen fielding Pithiya’s deliveries. Wasim Jaffer, a former Indian cricketer, responded to the video posted on Twitter by writing: “First Test is in five days, and @ashwinravi99 is into Australia’s mind already.”
In the most recent period, India played 12 domestic white-ball games versus Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Wasim Jaffer advised that the majority of the Indian team’s players participate in Ranji Trophy games. Because they haven’t practised red-ball cricket this season.

“Participating in the Ranji Trophy will, in my opinion, make a great deal of sense. It would be beneficial if they participated in just one game, or two innings, in a Ranji match. You definitely need that match time, particularly in red-ball cricket, regardless of how accomplished you are. You do not wish to play that first Test with a raw team.”
However, the Indian athletes who took part in the white-ball matches against Sri Lanka and New Zealand did not participate in the Ranji Trophy tournaments. The first Test, which begins on Thursday in Nagpur, will be intriguing to watch for how they play.
