Sebastian Vettel Issues a Dire Warning to the Racing Industry

Sebastian Vettel recently said that before governments begin to outlaw racing, significant adjustments in carbon emissions must be made. Throughout his career in the sport, the former F1 driver consistently heightened public awareness of climate change, and he will do so even after retiring in 2022.

Sebastian Vettel said he likes diverse motorsports and wants new racers and his own children to enjoy them in the same manner before they progressively become outlawed in various nations during the 2023 Race of Champions event in Sweden.

“I’m quite cautious when it comes to the future even if I love motorsport. We have young drivers, and I myself have children. So I consider it a true honour to have had the opportunity to do so. For obvious reasons, it would be unfortunate if this were to ever be prohibited.”

Sebastian Vettel discussed how many motorsport disciplines must begin considering alternate fuels and techniques to further cut emissions and halt climate change.
