Spurs bid for £53m rejected yet Real Betis playmaker wants to play Poochetino.
The 23-year old Real Betis Midfielder Giovani Lo Celso officially became a player of this La Liga side in April after the completion of a permanent deal from Paris Saint Germain spending a season-long loan at this Spanish side.
The Midfielder has been linked with a move to the Lilywhites in recent weeks and other North London clubs are said to have already made a bid of £53million which has been instantly rejected by the Club.
Spurs are already facing the competition for the 23-year old Argentine Midfielder with other Premier League interested in signing him. The Londoners haven’t made a new signing since January 2018 when they last paid £23million to Paris Saint Germain for Lucas Moura.
Real Betis failure to qualify for Europa League next season forced them to sell their most prized assets including Giovani Lo Celso. The club is likely using the player in order to make a huge profit from him. A big amount like £88million is released to his contract and Sevilla side insisted that this release clause must be met in order to sign the player. It is understood Betis wants to sell him for a fee closer to that amount which would represent a huge profit to a club.
After the impressive and successful season on loan and scoring almost 16 goals and 6 assist in 45 games in all competition. Real Betis triggered a £20million option in the loan deal for him.
Mauricio Pochettino side is already interested in bringing the star Midfielder to North London as they are looking for a potential player who can become a successor of their player, Christian Eriksen if he leaves the club this summer. As per the reports, Giovani Lo Celso is also keen on playing for his compatriot Mauricio Pochetino.
Having an unsuccessful and dull season at the Spurs it has been concluded by fans that the Christian Eriksen is on his way to leave the club that will free some space for some potentially strong players.
Spurs have to meet the released clause in order to sign Giovani Lo Celso that would most likely break the transfer record of Davidson Sanchez. Adapted to attack and driving the team to attacking areas, the Midfielder brings energy and strength to the midfield.
