Arsenal youngster makes big promise to Arsenal fans.

The youngster is yet to start a game this season. Injuries has delayed the youngster’s chance to impress new boss Unai Emery. He has given an update on his fitness.

With Rob Holding’s serious injury, it seems Arsenal will dip into the winter transfer market for a defender. The Gunners are already living without Danny Welbeck and Holding’s injury may dent the top 4 hopes. Club captain Koscielny is yet to feature this season. However, fans will be happy to see this Arsenal player getting back on track.

Konstantinos Mavropanos makes a big promise to the Arsenal fans as he provides an injury update. Mavropanos became an instant hit with the Arsenal fans. The young defender endeared himself to the Gunners faithful almost from the moment he donned the red shirt for the first time. But he is stuck on three appearances for the Gunners – the three that he made at the end of last season – after picking up a groin strain at the start of this season. The Greek was expected to be a firm favourite of new Boss Unai Emery. Emery was talking about the defender in a video released by the club. Unai Emery with Ivan Gazdis was talking about Mavropanos.

Mavropanos is on the road to recovery. Konstantinos Mavropanos was expected to be back by now, although his return was put back until this month. And the Greek defender has issued an update about his recovery from injury in a social media post today. The 20-year-old provided an update on his recovery with a video on his Instagram page of him running on an anti-gravity treadmill with the caption: “Getting ready! Braver and stronger than you believe.” The recovery will come at the right time. Arsenal are in a dilemma whether to buy a centre-back in the transfer window. Mavropanos’s return alongside Koscielny’s return may fill the void created by Holding.

Author’s take:

Mavropanos has shown his quality during the end of the season. He was Mislintat’s first signing and he has shown the potential to be a big great. The Greek can make a name this season when he returns to the playing XI.
