Wow!! Juventus Manager speaks of Barcelona target leaving the club

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has spoken out on the possibility of Paulo Dybala leaving Turin this summer transfer window.

Dybala has been one of the most promising young talents for quite a while now. The young left-footed attacker was branded as the next Lionel Messi and the heir to his throne at Argentina. However, the 24-year-old is yet to take his game to the next level with Juventus.

Ever since making the switch from Palermo to Juventus for €32 million, Dybala has won the double of the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia in all three seasons with the Old Lady under manager Massimiliano Allegri. Dybala scored 26 goals this season and his impressive performances at Turin have drawn interest from European counterparts Barcelona.

However, the 50-year-old Italian boss has spoken out on the possible future for Dybala at Juventus.

Inside News-

Sources in Italy have stated that Allegri is not deeming Dybala in the same bracket as his national compatriot Gonzalo Higuain. Allegri spoke to Dybala and stated that there are only a handful of clubs that can make his prized asset a better player.

Allegri explained, “Would we wait for the World Championship to decide his future? No, it’s not like Higuain. I spoke to him before the holidays and his goal is to play another great season with us and then go to a great team to improve. If you play at Juventus you have three chances: Real, Barça or Bayern.”

After Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann confirmed that he would stay loyal to the Madrid club, Barcelona will have to look at alternatives to bolster their frontline. The 24-year-old is certainly among the prime candidates to fill in the void.

Author’s Take-

I think that Barcelona will now step up in their pursuit for Dybala because they need a world class player to replace the departing legend of Andreas Iniesta. Dybala’s South American partnership with Lionel Messi for Argentina and Luis Suarez would make the Catalonian club a force to reckon with in Europe.
