Real Madrid youngster Marco Asensio is reportedly upset with his playtime under Zinedine Zidane and is looking for a potential exit from the Bernabeu with Chelsea and Liverpool being the favorites to sign the ace.
The 22-year-old has been frustrated of late with the amount of game time he has received this season with manager Zinedine Zidane opting for the favored attacking line up of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale with sporadic appearances from Isco.
Real Madrid has performed below par this season having been eliminated from the Copa Del Ray and a battle for a Champions League qualification spot in the La Liga table. The fabled attacking trio of Los Blancos has failed to bring in the goals for the club which has led to serious consequences.

Amidst this Spanish outlet, Diario Gol reports that Spanish International Marco Asensio is interested in a move to the Premier League and has contacted Chelsea and Liverpool in a bid to execute the move. On the other hand, Don Balon claims that the Blues have decided to line up a bid up to 135 million for the young prospect.
As previously reported, Asensio is not favored at the Bernabeu with Zidane opting for other options. The Spaniard is speculated to be not in the good books of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Toni Kross and Marcelo.
Although, the club president Fiorentino Perez wants to keep hold of the youngster who arrived from Mallorca. The president has apparently held talks with the player over his future and has requested to wait until he makes a decision.
The need for Asensio in the Premier League
Chelsea and Liverpool have lined up moves for the youngster in a bid to strengthen their squad. The Blues have struggled as of late and did not have a successful transfer window compared to their counterparts. With Eden Hazard yet to commit a future to the club, the London side is hoping to bring in Asensio in an attempt to give their attack a major boost which has let the club down as of late.
Apart from that, Asensio’s Spain teammate Alvaro Morata has reportedly urged the Chelsea board to sign the youngster.
Whereas Liverpool is looking to replace the void created by the departure of Phillipe Coutinho. Despite having the likes of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane in the flanks, the Anfield outlet does not have a good backup for the duo. The club apparently believes Marco Asensio as the ideal replacement for the departed Coutinho.
Asensio is a youngster with high caliber which he has proved in the past. This is a crucial phase in the stage of the youngster since his next move shall determine his entire career. He could either stay at Madrid and earn his place in the lineup or move to the Premier League where he is in demand at the moment.
