Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu for quite some time and has transfer offers from major Premier League clubs.
The 28-year-old has had an injury-laden career at Real Madrid and while there have been times where he has shined brightly, this season has seen a major dip in form. With Los Blancos struggling in the league and their front trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale misfiring have seen both fans and critics cry out for a change to their team.
However, while there is no doubting Bale’s quality, his horrid injury record has seen him become the bane of frustration and has overshadowed his contributions on the field. But while he was linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window as Jose Mourinho looked to strengthen the Old Trafford side, but Zinedine Zidane failed to bring in former Monaco star Kylian Mbappe and thus they opted to keep the 28-year-old.
Now less than six months on and it looks more likely that Gareth Bale could be sacrificed to make a pathway for the new Galacticos, especially if Real Madrid end the season trophyless. But with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and even former club Tottenham Hotspur interested in his services, Gareth Bale certainly doesn’t have to worry.
However, according to reports from Spanish news outlet Don Balon the Welshman has some serious interest from England and even wants a move back to the Premier League. It further adds that Real Madrid is more than prepared for his departure and that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez reportedly thinks that Gareth Bale is no longer the player they bought, five years ago.

But even then, both Chelsea and United would want to see the Welshman play a string of games before breaking the bank for him. While any fee below £60 million would be an absolute bargain for the winger, it’s his frequent injury problems that will have his suitors worried. The 28-year-old has only played 6 games in the La Liga this season, 19 games last season and 23 in the 15/16 season, which will have an impact on this transfer fee.
But despite that his quality has shone and while he has struggled for goals this season, the Welshman would still be a quality signing for either Manchester United or even Chelsea, who need to replace Eden Hazard when he decides to leave.
Gareth Bale is a good player despite all his injury issues and would be a stunning signing especially if any of his suitors don’t pay over £60 million for the Welshman. But even then his injury issues have limited his appearances this season and Jose Mourinho wants someone he can depend on in his race for the Premier League title.
