Romely Lukaku is not happy with Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jose Mourinho
Manchester United’s big-money summer signing has recently rediscovered his goalscoring. Romelu Lukaku has refound his magic touch just in time as Zlatan Ibrahimovic waits on the wings for any slip-ups by the Belgian.

Lukaku’s lean patch coincided with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return from injury. The 36-year-old Swede returned from a career-threatening Knee Ligament injury and now reportedly wants his first team slot back.
This has not gone down well with Lukaku who is annoyed by Ibrahimovic’s reluctance to accept the Belgian as the new top dog at Manchester United. The 24-year-old moved for a fee of £75 million and took the No. 9 shirt previously worn by Ibrahimovic himself. The 24-year-old even asked for Ibrahimovic’s permission before taking the No. 9 even though the big Swede was out of contract and hence not a United player technically. He believes that, despite his respect for the Swede, he does not receive the same in return.
Daily Mirror reports that Lukaku’s unhappiness is not only limited to Zlatan. He is also annoyed by Jose Mourinho. He is of the opinion that Mourinho’s coaching staff has not done anything about Ibrahimovic’s behaviour. Notably, Mourinho and Ibrahimovic have shared a great relationship since their brief time together at Inter.
Paul Pogba too has been a reason for the Belgian’s annoyance. The French international was one of the main reasons why Manchester United pipped Chelsea for Lukaku’s signature. Pogba has been too close to Ibrahimovic for Lukaku’s liking who expected Pogba to side with him.
Interestingly all three of the of the aforementioned players are Mino Raiola’s agents. The notorious agent brokered huge packages for all three of these players as they moved to United. The former Everton ace also believes that Raiola is taking Ibrahimovic’s side in this particular argument owing to their longer working relation.
If the reports hold any truth, then Lukaku is just acting as a whiner. He needs to pull his weight around. It is well known that Ibrahimovic has a huge ego, something that reportedly saw him fall out with his then manager Pep Guardiola.
Lukaku is not just a promising youngster anymore. He is the first choice centre-forward for his national team and one of the biggest clubs in the world. What others do should not affect his game or his psyche, he has talent and just needs to put in the hard yards to earn respect from everyone including Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
