Chelsea are rumored to be interested in CSKA Moscow midfielder, Aleksander Golovin, who has shone in the Russian Premier League this season.
Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is keen on signing his fellow Russian and is willing to splash £15 million for the young star.
The CSKA Moscow starlet is one of the bright spots in the Russian team that will participate in the 2018 World Cup.
Abramovich will either snap up the midfielder in the January transfer market to the team or else will send the youngster back to Russia on loan. Abramovich has ties with the Russian giants after sponsoring for them in the past.

Chelsea’s plans for Golovin
Golovin is not expected to be a part of Antonio Conte’s line-up right from the start, he is being planned to take over from veteran Cesc Fabregas in the potential future.
The 21-year-old has 71 appearances to his name at the club level and also a dozen caps for his nation having represented Russia at the Confederations Cup.
The youngster has proved to be a player for big tournaments, as he was part of all the group stage matches for the club in the Champions League.
The midfielder is known for his tenacity to play rash and has already been booked 8 times this season. Arsenal were rumored to be interested in the player in the summer transfer window to solve their midfield crisis.
Chelsea have been suffering from the departure of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United, new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko has not been able to replicate the performances of the Serbian which was instrumental in the Blues’ two Premier League title wins in three seasons.
Golovin would be a good addition to the Chelsea midfield quartet. With the departure of Kenedy, Chelsea lack an option of a young player in the heart of the midfield. Golovin would really benefit playing alongside the likes of experienced N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater. The Russian could go on to make a name for himself at the Stamford Bridge if he can maintain his discipline on the field.
