“He should think about his team.”-Antonio Conte hits back at Jose Mourinho

Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte has hit Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for his recent comments regarding managers who keep whining about their injury troubles.

Before Chelsea’s Champions League fixture against Roma, Antonio Conte expressed his concerns about the injury woes of the club.

Jose Mourinho was lately being criticized for his defensive tactics after he managed to secure two consecutive clean sheets in the games against Liverpool and Benfica. And after the Benfica game, when he was asked about how injuries are troubling his team’s performances, the Portuguese took a dig at the other managers saying ‘they cry about the injuries’.

When Conte was asked about his opinion on the comments of former Chelsea manager, the Italian wasn’t happy and hit back at him telling he should “think about his own team”.

“If he is speaking about me, I think he has to think about his own team and start looking at himself, not others,” the Italian said.

“I think that a lot of the time Mourinho spends seeing what has happened at Chelsea. A lot of the time and a lot of last season, also.
