Chelsea striker has finally broken the silence about why he opted a move away from the European Giants, Real Madrid.
Morata rejoined Real Madrid in the summer of 2016. But due to a lot of fight for the first team action, he 24-year-old struggled to start games on regular basis.
He was heavily linked to numerous teams this summer with the likes of Ac Milan and Chelsea’s premier league rivals, Manchester United.
“If I was allowed to play five consecutive matches,” he told El Pais when asked what else he needs to do to prove his worth.
“In Madrid I never played five straight games.”

Rejuvenated at Chelsea?
Morata started his first game at Chelsea from the bench and was involved in both of the goals in their loss to Burnley.
After an impressive start, Morata started both of the games and could only impress his new side.
Currently, he’s on international duty with the Spanish national team where has netted his 10th goal in his 21st appearance.
