There are various teams in Europe struggling for a Right Back, with Barcelona leading the list who didn’t enjoy the services of a recognized Right Back last season. The other teams who find themselves in the same situation are Juventus, by the departure of Dani Alves and Tottenham where Kyle Walker moved to Premier League rivals Manchester City. All the three were reported interested to add Serge Aurier, who is looking desperate to leave Paris since the arrival of Dani Alves at the Parc des Princes. The Ivorian star is on the radar for many clubs and Manchester United and Inter are the most recent one to showcase their interest in the player.
Aurier’s situation at Paris Saint Germain
The Elephant’s captain Aurier had reportedly rejected the contract offered to him by Unai Emery and has only a year left in his existing contract. It looks likely that he wants to force a move-out and take up new challenges. With Dani Alves joining PSG, they seem to have found a correct replacement and this hints that he would no longer be a part of the Ligue 1 giants. Moreover, the 24-year was also not a part of the Parisian’s pre season tour. The French club seems to wait for the best offer from his possible suitors so that he can be offloaded.

United and Inter come calling:
According to the reports in Psgunited, super agent Mino Riola is leading the talks with Aurier’s agent Stephane Corbis to lure him to Old Trafford where he played an important role in Lukaku hijack from Chelsea. Meanwhile, reports in Sky say that Inter are also in contention with Luciano Spalletti willing to offer a good amount to sign Aurier. This looks like the clubs are engaged in all direction was to get the player with Juventus and Tottenham also keen on replacing their departed Right Backs with the services of Aurier.
What lies ahead?
It is clear that Aurier will not be playing for PSG, who were quick to grab on a still good Dani Alves from Juve. Dani Alves played an important part in the clubs 2-1 win over Monaco in the Trophee des Champions, including a spectacular free kick from range. The Brazilian looks on song and PSG would be happy to offload Aurier for the best offer. With interest from all parts, the Parisians would like to garner a good sum from the Ivorian captain’s sale. The sum so accumulated can be used to finance the world record bid for Neymar. It would be interesting to see where does the Elephant’s captain play this season.
