Perturbances emanating racial discrimination and affront aimed at the hat-trick scorer Son Heung-min during the Spurs’ splendid 6-0 victory over the Lions is put under the lens of scrutiny and investigation.
The South-Korean forward was allegedly directed verbal assaults of ‘DVD’ and ‘he’s selling three for a fiver‘ at the White Hart Lane, as this implies racial abuse for an Asian.
The Football Association and the police are engaged in their race to dig out the convicts and are waiting for reports of the referee Martin Atkinson for the same. The manager Neil Harris, though refused to have heard the growl of all that happened, condemned the act and spoke out in reproval for the convicts.
“It’s a shame to be talking about this”- He said.
“I didn’t hear anything but myself and the club won’t condone that if there is. I’m sure it will be investigated and left to the authorities.”- Neil added.
“We want people dealt with harshly of course. It’s wrong in society and wrong in football.”- He concluded.
There are reports of upsurging commotion succeeding the match too, outside ground but that was timely restrained by heavy police and security.
