The FPLGeneral looks at five players who have less than 5% ownership in Fantasy Premier League. They can help you shoot up the FPL rankings and also win you the cash in our GW27 Premier League contests.
Chris Smalling (Man United)
FPL Ownership – 3.7%
I expect United to register their 16th clean sheet of the campaign away to Newcastle on Sunday. Smalling has played the last four league matches, keeping three clean sheets. He’s due a goal as well. You can’t go wrong with a United defender in FPL this season.
Federico Fernandez (Swansea)
FPL Ownership – 3.1%
Fernandez has Delivered Attacking Returns in recent weeks with a goal and an assist in his last three games. A home tie against Burnley offers a good chance of a clean sheet for a rejuvenated Swansea.
Gerard Deulofeu (Watford)
FPL Ownership – 2.4%
Deulofeu was magnificent in the 4-1 over Chelsea on Monday night, grabbing a goal and an assist. Now is the time to take a punt on him with three decent fixtures upcoming and he plays in blank gameweek 31.
Jordon Ibe (Bournemouth)
FPL Ownership – 2.0%
Only Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne have had more goal attempts than Ibe over the past 6 GWs when it comes to midfielders in FPL. He’s delivered attacking returns in 4 of his last 5 games (1 goals, 3 assists). I’d fancy him to get something from the trip to Huddersfield who have been poor recently.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)
FPL Ownership – 4.9%
He won’t be a differential for long so it could pay off to put your faith in him early. Spurs away is a tough fixture but I expect to see goals from both sides in the derby with Aubameyang likely to be involved.
