Harry Kane
Fixture: Tottenham v Arsenal (Saturday 12.30)
I didn’t include Kane in my must-haves last week, but he still managed to get himself on the score sheet in the pulsating 2-2 draw with Liverpool, scoring from the spot late on having seen his first penalty saved by Loris Karius. His goal was his 100th in the premier league, an astonishing achievement at the age of 24.
Saturday’s early kick-off should be a cracker. Kane has scored 6 goals in 6 premier league matches against the Gunners. I’m hoping his goal tally goes from 100 to 103 this weekend.
Phil Jones
Fixture: Newcastle v Manchester United (Saturday 15.00)
Jones missed out on United’s 15th clean sheet of the season in Gw26 due to illness. We should see him restored to the starting XI for the trip to Newcastle. The Magpies have only managed to score 24 goals in 26 premier league matches this season. Another United clean sheet looks likely. Jones, Smalling and De Gea will be in my Sportito lineup for this weekends daily fantasy contests.
Sergio Aguero
Fixture: Manchester City v Leicester City (Saturday 17.30)
Man City dropped points against Burnley last weekend in a 1-1 draw, with the popular City assets disappointing FPL managers with blanks including Aguero. Discounting the Burnley fixture, the Argentinian has been in red-hot form, scoring 5 goals in 4 games. I expect to see his name on the score sheet against the Foxes.
Mohamed Salah
Fixture: Southampton v Liverpool (Sunday 16.30)
Essential.
Marcos Alonso
Fixture: Chelsea v West Brom (Monday 20.00)
The Spaniard didn’t play in Gw26 for ‘precautionary’ reasons according to Antonio Conte. Chelsea were hammered 4-1 by Watford in Alonso’s absence. Hopefully, he will be back in the starting XI for Mondays tie against West Brom and back amongst the goals and clean sheets as well.
