Give your Sportito side a royal boost with the in-form King

The Gameweek 34 Winner Takes £100 Contest has a more open feel to it, as Sportito players can’t simply rely on a quartet of Spurs stars to hoover up the prizes.

Instead, we have focused our attention on three ‘must haves’ for your XI, and a wildcard selection that might just tip the six-match contest in your favour.

The first nailed on pick is the inexorable force that is Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian may have been more explosive at home this season, with 16 of his 24 goals coming at Goodison Park, but the Premier League’s leading marksman is up against his favourite team at the London Stadium on Saturday. Lukaku has scored in his last nine Matches against the Hammers in all competitions.

With his 38.25-point haul against West Ham still fresh in the memory, Bournemouth’s Joshua King is the second pick in our quest for Sportito success. The fact that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City matches don’t fall under this contest is a real plus point for the Norwegian international. This means that a space that might normally be allocated to Alexis Sanchez, Diego Costa or Sergio Aguero can be afforded to a man that has scored or assisted eight of the Cherries’ last 10 goals.

While it is hard to predict Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United line-ups with any certainty, given their continued involvement in the Europa League, Liverpool’s top four charge is consistently driven by the all-action Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian took his tally of league goals to 11 with last week’s winner at the Hawthorns, and averages 10.7 points over the last three matches. After four matches without a goal, Firmino is now targeting a third successive goalscoring outing.

We toyed with the idea of picking a Burnley defender as our wildcard for this week’s contest, as Manchester United have failed to score in their last two visits to Turf Moor. However, we have settled on the services of Marco Silva’s preferred striker, Oumar Niasse. The on-loan Niasse has frustrated at times since moving to the KCOM from Everton in January, but has returned hauls of 12.25, 21.18 and 11.13 points in three of his last five home matches for the Tigers.
