DAVID BECKHAM;S FAMOUS FREE KICK AGAINST GREECE IS TWENTY YEARS OLD BUT S WILL SURPRISE YOU

 The year was 2001 and England was playing Greece for a place in the world cup 2002 in Japan and South Koreas. And they wanted a draw a Sigle point to qualify for the world cup. Greece was then leading England 2-1.

 But deep into injury time  David Beckham went to take that very famous free kick.


 But then what you all may know was David Beckham had missed five free kick against Greece that day.

 Then Teddy Sheringham forward to take that free kick, but David Beckham said ,that he would take it and told Teddy Sheringham to go to the wall. And the rest is history as they say.

 But Teddy Sherringham was honest to tell David Beckham, that he would not have scored that  very important goal.
