Tottenham Hotspur have decided to taunt Arsenal through a video posted on their official Twitter handle ahead of the North London Derby tonight.

This fixture was initially scheduled to be held all the way back in January. However, the Gunners requested a postponement owing to the unavailability of multiple players due to COVID-19 issues and injuries.

The Premier League approved our request and that infuriated Tottenham. They released a long statement criticising the decision, and Antonio Conte has had more than one pop at Mikel Arteta since. The game is set to go ahead tonight, but it looks like Spurs are still not over what happened four months ago.

The excitement around the derby has been higher than it has ever been in recent years. This is arguably the most important fixture between Arsenal and Spurs in a long, long time, and the pressure is massive.

Tottenham released a video this morning ahead of the derby to hype their fans up. It includes numerous clips of their famous goals against us, but the most interesting part was the little dig they aimed at Arsenal.

At the 11th-second mark of the minute-long video, Tottenham claim they were “ready in January,” taunting the Gunners’ request to have that game rescheduled.

This definitely spices things up a bit ahead of the massive game tonight.

The Gunners can silence Spurs tonight

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League table, four points clear of Tottenham. We are in the driving seat to get back into the Champions League next season and even a loss tonight won’t change that.

However, a win will shut Spurs up.

Three points at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium will confirm Arsenal’s place inside the top four. It will also make it mathematically impossible for Spurs to get in, which makes it all the sweeter.
