Get ready for Auba, NLD Preview, Are The Gunners better without Sanchez?

Get ready for Auba!

Former Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke Arsenal’s record transfer fee when he joined Arsenal for a whopping £56million!

The Gabon international made a superb start to his Arsenal career when he was put through by former and current teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan (who also joined The Gunners in January) and dinked the ball exquisitely over Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to put Arsenal four goals ahead against Everton. Despite being offisde, the goal still stood!

Fans were estatic to see their new man get onto the scoresheet and Aubameyang has stated himself: “There is plenty more where that came from!”

With Arsenal facing some tough fixtures this February (Mannchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and more) it is a perfect time to see whether Aubameyang was worth the money!

NLD (North London Derby) Preview:

It’s that time of the season again! Arsenal and Tottenham will battle it out on the surface of Wembley, and we can’t wait!

Down below are the details of the fixture if you’re planning to watch it at your home!

Date: Saturday, Feb. 10

Time: 12:30 p.m. (GMT)/7:30 a.m. (ET)

TV: BT Sport 1 (UK), CNBC (U.S.)

Wembley is sort of Arsenal’s second home. The Gunners have avoided a loss for 8 years now, the loss was a 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City in the Capital Cup Final where Koscielny made ‘that’ mistake.

Tottenham have also been doing well at their home ground for this season having not loss since August! Thats 16 games!

Wenger and Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino would both be very happy with a fourth-placed finish this term. However, neither team has displayed the confidence needed to be consistent in their results.

The arrival of Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan allows Wenger to play his favoured tactics, but all eyes will be on Kane as he attempts to show why he has become the most hyped striker in Europe.

Arsenal are reportedly hopeful three important talents will be available for them, as Wenger assesses the fitness of Petr Cech, Danny Welbeck and Nacho Monreal.

The Gunners will want to play on the counter-attack when able to, and Mkhitaryan’s creativity could be the deciding factor if the visitors collect three precious points.

Are The Gunners better off without Sanchez?

Since Alexis Sanchez left in January to Manchester United, Arsenal have scored 10 goals in three games!

-Arsenal 4-1 Crystal Palace
– Swansea City 3-1 Arsenal
-Arsenal 5-1 Everton

The reds seem to play with much more confidence and much more freedom on the ball. Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a game to remember as he levelled Sanchez’ assist count for the season so far in one game! (3).

Players like Alex Iwobi and Granit Xhaka are recieving the ball a lot and are making the play excellent without the Chilean.

We all know Sanchez is world class, but didn’t it annoy you how long it took him to release the ball?

Former Gunners Theo Walcott said this in an interview after Sanchez left:

“He plays for himself and doesn’t even look at his teammates when calling for the ball.”

“We know he is capable of producing unbelievable moments but his attitude stunk.”

“He would never speak to anyone in the dressing room or join in on anything. He was basically toxic to the club.”
