Liverpool beat Brighton 2-1 and increased Manchester City’s lead to 11 points at the top of the Premier League table. Virgil van Dijk was the man of the match with two goals, and the Reds’ since 76th minute played with a player less due to the exclusion of Allison Becker, who played with a hand out of the allowed area. Chelsea were unpleasantly surprised by West Ham at Stamford Bridge and lost 0-1. Aaron Creswell in the 48th minute was the man to decide this match. Crystal Palace celebrated the visitors 0-2 against Burnley.
