Let’s exchange resources that help alleviate emotional suffering and assist us on our spiritual path! What are yours? Please add in the Comments section.
Here are 10 of mine, in no particular order (of course, a list like that is never complete and may change over time).
1. EFT or “tapping”: Mindful acupressure that can shift and transform emotional and physical pain. For more information go to the comprehensive website www.EFTfree.net and to my professional site www.MissingMother.com
2.HeartMath: This is a user-friendly, scientifically backed stress relief system. It accesses the intelligence of the heart. www.HeartMath.org
3.Mindfulness: This Buddhism-inspired process has become popular. Here are my two favorites: The books by Pema Chödrön, like When Things Fall Apart and The Places that Scare You, and the App Guided Meditations for Self-Healing by Jack Kornfield.
4.The books by Marianne Williamson, especially Return to Love and her brand-new one: Tears of Triumph – The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment.
5.The computer games of Wild Divine. Related to HeartMath and Mindfulness, these spiritual games release stress and train your heart intelligence. www.wilddivine.com
6.Glenn Harrold‘s Solfeggio Sonic Meditations. I have them as Apps (least expensive), but they are also available on other carriers. Solfeggio is an ancient sound healing scale, and the guided imagery is woven into the music. www.glennharrold.com
7.The spiritual book Stranger by the River by Paul Twitchell. It describes our sacred quest for love in poetic, haunting language. I read this book again and again.
8.Super Soul Sunday, the TV Show hosted by Oprah Winfrey. Great interviews with spiritual teachers.
9.The books by Deepak Chopra, most of all The Path to Love.
10.The Facebook page Rumi Quotes. “The moment you accept what troubles you’ve been given, the door will open.”
