Have you ever hooked up with other Believers for advice, or for a listening ear, and when all was said and done you were told to just, “keep your eyes on Jesus?”(Hebrews 12:1-2)
Well to keep your Eyes Fixed on Jesus, means to remain connected to Him, the One who saved your soul?
But, what exactly does that mean? Today you are going to find out…
It means that every part of who you are aligns with who He is completely.
It means there’s nothing out of place within you that isn’t pleasing unto Him….
It’s sorta like this; He’s the lighthouse and you are the ship.
He serves as the lighthouse, represented as your guide. Once you see the lighthouse you lock in on it and keep your focus right there, and suddenly you know you’re going in the right direction.(Psalm 119:105) “Your word is a lamp to guide My feet and a light for my path.”
It’s your point of security for knowing that you’re in the right place, headed in the right direction.
And you are very aware that what you see right before your eyes is all the guidance you need to see which direction to go….
What you see ahead of you is what you stay connected to, and follow, no matter what! Through the good the bad and the ugly
Knowing that no matter what lies ahead of you, you have such a connection that nothing can get you to look or go the other way and waiver you off course!!
Question? What is distracting you today from keeping your eyes fixed on God?
Can you identify what it is, that is distraction? If you can call it out and go to battle against it in prayer.
Lets face it, We’re all fighting an ongoing battle, the battle that’s already been defeated for us against satan, but we still have to be reminded to get dressed up in our Armour everyday.
Everybody’s battle may look different, but let’s be honest, we all are fighting one.
Just know that when you are tempted to look all around at the storm in your view, look up! Keep the eyes of your heart focused on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith
This is what it means to keep your eyes on Him, on Jesus. The One that will never lead you astray, turn His back on you, leave you to fend for yourself….no never!
You need to know that He’s got you. But, you just have to stay connected!!
Your eyes must stay locked in on His, as you get to the other side of what it is you’re going through.
Because it’s only when you have clarity, You have peace!
It’s so assuring knowing that You KNOW who you are in Him, and to whom you belong.
There’s nothing like having such confidence in knowing that in Him you belong, and nothing can move you from it, as you stand firm….
Remember to always keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and keep them there. No matter what is going on around you, not looking to the left, nor to the right, but forward at all times.
It’s only when you turn your head to look in those uncharted areas, you lose your focus. That’s when you get derailed, when you start focusing on everything else going on.
Yeah, to those things that don’t matter, those things that you have Authority over…
When your eyes are on Christ, they are not on the world.
And, when our eyes are on the world, they are not on Christ.
Just stay reminded;
When your being lied on, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus
When your job is pressing in on you with deadlines, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus
When you and your spouse have a disagreement, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus
When you children are pulling you in every direction but straight, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus….
Fixing your eyes on Jesus doesn’t keep you blind from what’s going on in the world at that very moment, but what it does do, is encamp you with a peace which surpasses all understanding, and builds a foundation that is unshakable to any and all obstacles you are facing!
We have to know that no matter what we face, we face it with God right by our side, regardless of what it looks like to the natural eye.
Our rest is in knowing that our Father is both our Author and our Finisher, our Beginning and our End, our Point of Contact and our Final Destination!
God calls us to stay focused. To keep our eyes on Christ, and stop looking at what everyone else is doing, being, and saying – but, instead see Him.
Come on, I know we all face hard times, even Jesus spoke about this in the Word of God, that we would. However it’s all in how you handle those hard times, those unexplained seasons, those detours, those dissappointments, that you never saw coming…
It’s in those moments when your Spiritual Discipline of fixing your eyes on Jesus comes into play, when you think it’s okay to take your eyes off of Him for a split second, and then the Holy Spirit reminds you to place them back where they belong, which is on the One who loves you no matter what comes your way!
if you would just focus on Jesus more than the circumstances, it won’t be allowed to frustrate you. It won’t be allowed to gut punch you, and swallow you up.
It’s only when you focus more on the circumstances than on Jesus, is when the roles can be reversed…
What we fix our eyes on the most will eventually rule our hearts. So keep them fixed in the right place and towards the right solution, Jesus!

Christ are all those things to us! and without Him we are without them all…
He is the reason for our Victory… Our success is in Him and in Him alone, so keep your eyes on Him at all costs..
Do yourself a favor and don’t take your eye off of Jesus and start looking to other things as a fix.
Don’t try to figure out how you can get yourself out of whatever situation you’re in on your own. That is only a trap from the devil, and it will never end well for you.. Trust Me!! We need His wisdom…
Please Know!! that without a doubt, everything the devil does in your life is for his gain and your defeat. It’s all geared to get you to take your eyes off of Jesus and put them on whatever the situation that’s going on around you.
Like – every unpaid or overdue bill, every unnecessary argument in your marriage, every ache and pain in your body. It’s all designed to prevent you from walking in the (Supernatural Realm), which is where your breakthrough, deliverance, healing, and prosperity, all comes from.
Having a relationship with Jesus, helps you to replace all bad thoughts and even worse circumstances with God’s truth… His Word!!
Understand this, Nothing can get you through, but your relationship with Jesus, and if you don’t have one with Him how can you expect to be connected to your solution? You can’t!
You have to stay reminded of what Jesus did on the cross for you. He should be your first love.
Not only that, but stay reminded of who He said He is to you,
stay reminded of where He said He would always be when you needed Him,
and stay reminded of what He said He will surely do for you as one of His own.
And, in order for you to know these things, you have to do what connects you to Him. Read His Word, believe His Word, be obedient, walk in faith, refrain from sin, and pray always!
And Please!! Don’t get lured into the famous Christian saying that most use – “We’re All Sinners saved by grace”. True we were (ALL) “sinners” before we accepted Jesus. And, yes, we were saved because of His Grace….
But, since then we have become “Saints” indwelled by the very Spirit of God! Let’s not dishonor the Spirit!! By saying we are still sinners!!
So, just keep in mind that the more time you spend in His Word and in Prayer, the better you’ll get to know Him. It is through those things God reveals himself.
And the more you know Him, the stronger your faith will grow.
And, remember that He is the source of your soundness, and your peace.
Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing can match that! No person, No institution, No amount of power, nothing can replace who God is in you, or what He has done for you.
When our eyes are focused and steady, how can we miss out on what God has for us? We can’t! Only the opposite happens.
We only begin to see ourselves and our lives with clarity.
We start to believe the goodness, peace, and love He has for us as Believers, and we are no longer sidetracked with the lies of the enemy!!
Remember this, No GOD No Peace, Know GOD Know Peace!! It’s as simple as that… Jesus is not an option, He is the (only) solution!!
