- Approach God With His Word

"God is not a man, that he should lie; He doesn't change his mind like humans do. Has He promised, without doing what he said?" (Numbers 23:19 TLB)

The Bible tells us that God expects us to plead our case before Him that we might be justified (Isaiah 43:26); however a lot of us Fail to get the best out of it because we don't know how to. What God expects we do is to bring His Word with us in prayer. And that never fails because He honours His Word above all else.

Consider Jacob. He went to God with His Word (Gen 32:9-12), and it resulted in his change of story experience. When God named him Israel, it wasn't just a change of name; it was a complete makeover. A change of his entire life experience. And it all happened because he was bold enough to plead his case with God's Word.

Let's do the same then. If you need wisdom in a particular area, Remind Him that He gives wisdom liberally (James 1:5) and to all who are good (Eccl 2:26). If you are experiencing some sort of memory loss, remind Him that your memory has been blessed (Pro 10:7). If you are having a hard time, remind Him that they that love God lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). If you are sick, remind Him that He promised to restore your health (Jeremiah 30:17).

Do it in faith, and believe God to perform it as asked, and you will receive. He doesn't ignore His Word, because He is bound to do all He's spoken. Before He fails to fulfill His Word, heaven and earth would have to cease; and since we are still here on earth, it's the proof that He will do it.

Thus, go to the Lord with His Word in boldness this morning, knowing His Word never fails. Remember "God, who called you to become his child, will do all this for you, just as he promised." (1 Thess 5:24 TLB)
