- Use Christ's Authority

"And those who believe shall use my Authority to cast out demons..." (Mark 16:17 TLB)

Jesus admonishes us to use His authority at all times. Remember while He was alive He told His disciples to ask the Father for anything and He will do it (John 14:13-14), but at this point He was commanding them in times as this not to just ask but to decree things into existence. He said in His authority to cast out devils behind oppressions, sickness, unbelief and stagnancy etc. And this authority is in His Name.

David foresaw this and said in His Name he would crush any opposition (Psalm 118:10). He is saying thus that when sick, you can set your body free in His Name and restore everything back to normal. It's true. Peter did this with the lame man at the beautiful gate, and this is proven in his words: "Jesus' name has healed this man—and you know how lame he was before. Faith in Jesus' name—faith given us from God—has caused this perfect healing." (Acts 3:16 TLB).

He did the same with the dead Dorcas. Paul in the Name of Jesus rebuked the spirit of seduction terrorizing an entire city.

In short, the Name of Jesus is so powerful; so powerful that even before Jesus left men used it to heal the sick, raise the dead and rebuke demons. It is effective for all things. Don't doubt; just speak to that situation of yours in the authority of the Name of Jesus. Address it--be it sickness, or your failing business, just do it, and watch things come into place as He said it would; for at the mention of the Name, everything responds in submission (Philippians 2:9-10). Hallelujah!!!
