- You Have Been Glorified
"Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also Glorified." (Romans 8:30)
Your life is designed to exhibit God's Glory at all times. That's what He means when He called us God's building (1 Cor 3:9). A builder always imprints himself on his work. Because it is the source of his success, his best has to be revealed in it. The same applies with God. His best is revealed in man. Adam may have lost it at first, but in Christ all is restored; but only to those who are born again.
To be born again means to bear the Spirit of Christ in your now regenerated spirit as a sign of identification that you belong to Him; and this happens the day you believe and accept His Lordship. When this happens, some things take place. First, we receive His full glory (John 17:22); that is, the glory that comes from being one with Him, because that's all it takes to be glorious. Isaiah 11:10 says the land where He lives will be a glorious place (TLB). The land where He dwells now is you. Remember you are His building and His city.
Second thing that happens is that we have no more disadvantages, because we are glorified past limits (Romans 8:28-30). We are exactly as Jesus is now (1 John 4:17). So it means you can walk in dominion, free of oppression, high above all principalities as He does. But you must understand that this happened because you are now one with Christ.
