- You Will Rise Again
“I deserted you for a brief moment, but I will take you back with abundant compassion." (Isaiah 54:7 CSB)
What can be said to a man that is extremely jaded to help him? You may be feeling down and out based on your present experiences, but God has something for you this morning, and I'm sure it changes your approach towards life forever.
In Isaiah 54, God speaking to the fellow who believes his life is over because of the series of bad breaks he is having says, "Sing..." Isn't that amusing? Not if you read on to see why He is Telling them to. He said "Enlarge the place of thy tent...for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left..." (v.2-3). He is literally telling us that an increase is on its way. He's making room for more. You may have thought you were done for, but God is about to give you double consolation (Isaiah 61:7). He said though it seemed like He forsook you for a moment, but He is about to gather you into glory in grand style (Isaiah 54:7). He promises to adorn where we shall walk upon with gems (v.11); how much more what He shall adorn us with? He says our children shall be distinguished among their peers (V.13). And He says His righteousness in us shall establish this; and there shall be no more oppression, for He shall silence the oppressor forever (v.14-17).
This is the heritage He has given unto us in Christ. "Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don’t believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things, things that come with salvation. For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do." (Hebrews 6:9-10 NLT); and so if HE still sees a great future ahead of you, you have no reason doubting it would happen.
You will Rise again; to the very potential God made of you.
I wrote a book sometime back titled BREAK FORTH; and it simply reveals all God has made of you in contrast to what you may be living as presently. And I encourage you to read it because God is about to cause you to break forth, and you need to be aware of what that truly means. Anyway, your story is changing. God is taking you from the miry clay into a glorious place. He is enlarging you. Get ready for it.
"I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them. They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid." (Ezekiel 34:26-28 NIV)
