- God Can Do More
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." (Ephesians 3:20 NLT)
Don't Limit God my dear. You don't even know what great things He has in store for you. He doesn't just want to give you a fish, He yearns to give you the whole river. Jesus said, "I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of." (John 10:10 MSG)-- that is, abundance without limits.
He came to give you abundance in your health, finances, relationships and what have you; so don't expect less (Jeremiah 32:27). He said to Abraham as much as your eyes can see I give unto you (Genesis 13:14-15). He said to Joash as many arrows as you shot, so will your victories over Syria be (2 Kings 13:15-19). And all through scripture you will find that God left no room for limitation, except that which the men created themselves. Consider Israel in the wilderness feeding on quails and manna. He gave more than enough. Consider the widow with the pot of oil. He gave overflowing Measures. At all times He lets us choose our measures. So don't choose less.
The Bible tells us eyes have not seen nor ears heard what He has planned for us (1 Cor 2:9); and that's because it is always in out-of-this-world measures. As our theme verse says, it's infinitesimally beyond our wildest imaginations.
Permit me to show you God's intention for you: 2 Corinthians 9:8, 11 says "God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not only be enough for your own needs but plenty left over to give joyfully to others. Yes, God will give you much so that you can give away much, and when we take your gifts to those who need them they will break out into thanksgiving and praise to God for your help." (TLB).
He wants you to have more than enough. Not just enough money, but in health as well, in family, in revelations; because when you have enough, others gain from the overflow and God is praised. Again, don't limit God; He's not done with you yet if your cup isn't running over, for He says that's the kind of blessing He plans for you--a running over blessing (Psalm 23:5).
