The temple is in continuous use for over 20 years and is important for the local community that congregates to it. The temple building, located in the bush setting, is a local landmark.

The temple opens at 9 AM and is closed at 7 PM. During this period rituals of Lord Venkateswara are performed. Archana and Aarti are the daily rituals performed in this temple.

How to Reach Lord Balaji Helensburgh Temple

You can also reach here very easily in the same time by a train from Sydney (Central or Redfern Station) enjoying the beautiful natural scenery. There is a good convenient connection by a public Bus to the temple. There is a huge car parking space in the compound of the temple.
Helensburgh station (5.3 km) is present nearer to the temple.
Sydney Airport (43 KM) is present nearer to the temple.

TTD Role:

The Sri Venkateswara Temple Association was formed on 17th November 1978 in Sydney. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam board undertaking many temples, developing on its way. The Mahakumbhabhishekam (consecration of the temple by sacred waters) of the Lord Ganapathi ( Sri Varasiddhi Vinayagar) and the Main temple of Sri Venkateswara, Sri Maha Lakshmi and Sri Andal took place on 30th June, 1985 with ample good will and support from a very wide circle of devotees both in Australia and abroad.TTD Released all festival scheduled dates as per hindu calendar. The Tirupathi Tirumala Devasthanam was helpful by giving us both encouragement and financial help.
