OLD TESTAMENT AND FREE WILL
I struggled with the Old Testament writings concerning the usurpation of FREE WILL
I concluded that fear, interpretation, and corruption were employed to reinforce belief by the Children of Israel to improve unity and obedience.
However, it appears to have failed, even with, God’s direct intervention in their behalf. Where are the lost tribes of Israel now? Why did not the unification of them take hold? Were they not witnesses to those things ascribed as actions of God?
In my post Did the Great Flood Really Happen in the Bible, I examined Noah and the great flood. I wrote:
I prefer to believe that it was corrupted because FREE WILL
“I concluded that fear, interpretation, and corruption were employed to reinforce belief by the Children of Israel to improve unity and obedience.”
I have provided this analogy only to remind you that bad things happen to good people and the Creator operating with Truth will not contradict Self and does not renege on promises or gifts and therefore does not deliberately interfere, however, the actions of others may interfere with Its original plan.
I think man corrupted the story to attract believers in a religious order and the Creator had nothing to do with that.
Similar corruption is noticed throughout the Holy Bible. How will you use your FREE WILL
Will it be to perpetuate the way things are or will it be used to improve your soul?
That is precisely the problem this Work is intended to address for each one of us!
It appears that those who accept and practice what is written will return to the Creator, whereas those who do not will perish, devoid of that wonderful eventuality.
Does God Give us True Free will that remains forever?
