The above given error code follow up with a error message stating: Action Failed Error Number: 2950.

Do you know when and how this error occurs? You don’t know, then let me tell you this error is produced when you call VBA or Visual Basic for Applications function from macro. To explain my pointy clearly I have listed the cause and symptoms of this error:

One of the main sign behind the occurrence of this error message is when you run the macro which calls VBA function then you find an error code with the following message: Action Failed Macro Name: Condition: Macro Name: RunCode Arguments: Error Number: 2950.

Access 2007 got a Trust Center area where the database paths are added for the trusted databases. Opening the database which need to execute the functions which isn’t added to Trust Center can cause this error 2950. The executable content like macro calling VBA function is disabled in non-trusted database.

The solution to fix this problem is to enable the database for current session. After enabling the database to be trusted, Access 2007 enables the database until you close the database. You can enable the database by the help of Microsoft Office Security Options.
