Today, sellers create their own eCommerce website and eCommerce solutions company, make sure that these sellers have the best online store. There are apps that help the sellers to navigate through the store. However, there are some which can be spammed or fake ones. Not just apps, but also websites that will allure you, but are spam. So always remember these tips while shopping on mobile.
Many websites have their apps where you can shop effortlessly once you download the app. However, before downloading, check whether the app is efficient or no. This particular tip is very important if you are thinking of downloading a payment app. Just don’t limit yourself to review, but search the internet to check its authenticity too. See, whether it’s a scam or a genuine app!
Avoid Public Internet Connection:
This is a very important aspect because when we get free Wifi, we tend to immediately connect our phones with that domain. This is where you are going wrong because you have no idea about the security measures of these internet connections. Moreover, if there is any external intrusion, then your data might also be unsafe thus leading to hacking. So, avoid using WiFi connection which is unsecured.
Authentic Source For Downloading:
Always remember that when you are downloading any app, always remember to download it from the authentic app store. If you are using Android phones then download from Google Play Store, for Apple phones – Apple Stores and for Windows Phone – Microsoft Store. There are many downloaders that trick you in downloading apps from their website, but don’t fall into that trap.
While you are browsing through app store you might find several similar apps but always choose the legitimate app. Click on the link which displays the details of the app wherein you can find the owner and other details of the app. Check these details properly and only then go ahead.
Check For The Weblink:
While you are entering your credit card details or any other personal information, check the site address – whether it is starting from http:// or https://. If it is ‘http’ then don’t enter your information because that site is not secured by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Giving information in ‘http’ will make it easier for hackers to steal your information.
Avoid Unnecessary Clicks:
While shopping, you will find several links popping up, but avoid clicking on these links. Several links have elements that lead to phishing or malware attack and can intrude in your phone’s data. Thus, to avoid this don’t click on any of the links and make sure that you have a good anti-virus which will scan the link first and if found malicious will block it.
