Our MIEE Spotlight today focuses upon Lauren Arkley- Digital Learning Development Officer at Midlothian Council, who supports a variety of schools working alongside their staff and pupils to develop all things digital.
Building upon her classroom experience where she innovatively embedded technology, Lauren now plays a role in helping many schools digitally transform and use Office 365 via Glow. Passionate about ensuring both staff and students get full use of these tools, Lauren provides quality CPD with the support of the Microsoft Educator Community.
Lauren is also enthusiastic about the use of Skype in the Classroom and loves the opportunities this can open up for students. She encourages the colleagues she meets through her training to explore Skype in the Classroom on the Microsoft Educator Community and take their students on virtual adventures.
