Today's MIEE Spotlight looks at Vicky Ben Ghalba, Reception/Year 1 Class Teacher at Microsoft Training Academy St Joseph's RC & CofE Nursery and Primary School in Derbyshire, UK. Vicky uses her Surface device and ScreenBeam technology daily in her classroom to communicate and collaborate with students. In addition she uses a variety of Office 365 tools for planning and collaboration with colleagues.

Vicky has enjoyed the exciting journey of becoming a MIEE and is a keen user of the Microsoft Educator Community to enhance her knowledge through CPD. Vicky's main passion is to use Skype in the Classroom to enhance her students learning opportunities and find our about different cultures around the world. She participated in the Skype-a-thon last year where her children sang and exchanged cultural messages with other students from around the globe.

Vicky passionately believes the next generation need to be well educated with technology and feel confident and comfortable using it. Therefore, she supposes there is no better way to introduce it than through education in a safe and secure environment within schools, something which the use of Microsoft Office 365 is enabling her to do.
