Access Windows 10  Advanced Startup Options 

If Due to this Blue Screen your system Didn't Start normally or Restart continuously with blue Screen error, Then you can Access the Windows 10  Advanced Startup Options To use the Trouble shooting options and fix Windows 10.

Advanced startup” options formerly known as Advanced boot options” that can help you to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix your PC if it is having problems starting. Advanced Startup Options is the central fix-it location for the entire operating system. From Advanced Startup Options you can access Windows diagnostic and repair tools like Reset This PC, System Restore, Command Prompt, Startup Repair, and much more.



Also From Advanced Startup Options you access Startup Settings, the menu that includes Safe Mode, among other startup methods that could help you access Windows 10 or Windows 8.1  if it is having problems starting.

Make Sure All Windows Updates Installed 

Because the Unexpected_Store_Exception error is linked to Windows Store, you need to ensure that all Windows apps installed on your computer are updated and working properly.  Lets First Install All latest Available windows updates. Lets fallow me to do the same.

If due to this Unexpected_Store_Exception blue Screen error you are unable to login to windows the Boot windows into Safe Mode With Networking  using Advanced Startup Options or if you are able to start windows after this blue screen then click on Start - Settings. Here on Settings windows click Update & security.


 Click the Check for updates button and then install all updates found.

Try Disabling Fast Startup:

 Microsoft has brought a new cool feature ( Fast Startup ) on windows 10 and 8 that helps your PC for fast boot. In most cases, It helps people to have great experience. But, For some older or incompatible PCs, It can be a curse by causing blue screen problems. Else, Many peoples claimed that they could fix unexpected store exception by disabling fast startup feature. Disabling this feature may help to Fix Unexpected Store Exception Blue screen. Here how to do

At first, Open start menu and type “Power Option” and Hit enter. In the left side of window, Click on Choose what the power buttons do. Now, Click on Change Settings that are currently unavailable.
Uncheck Turn off fast startup (recommended).


Save Settings and restart your PC.
Now, See if it really resolves unexpected store exception or not.


Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Since Unexpected Store Exception Blue screen Error is a windows 10 Store Related issue. if any Error problem occurs On windows Store then you may face this blue Screen problem. To check or confirm there is nothing wrong on Windows Store you can use the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter.  

Download windows 10 Store App Troubleshooter

First  Download And run the following Apps Troubleshooter utility.  Open the file with the Diagnostics Troubleshooting Wizard, which should be selected by default.


Then follow the wizard through, clicking Next to progress through the stages. This will scans your system and detects any problems that might be preventing any Windows Store apps from working correctly. Then, if possible, it automatically fixes these without you needing to do anything.

Update Installed Device Drivers 

Drivers are essential components of your PC. They facilitate communication between the system and all installed programs and applications. They need to be installed and must be up-to-date for smooth computer operations. If you face this Unexpected Store Exception Blue screen Error After Recent install a hardware or after recent driver update Then there is issue with the driver software which is not compatible with current windows system. in this case you need to Install or update the current driver for that.

Here Fallow bellow to Update/ Roll Back Device Driver 

First press Win + R from keyboard to open it. Now, Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.


This will open the Device manager screen now Find and expend Display Adapter. There you should see your Installed graphics card driver like AMD Radeon / Nvidia and Intel HD graphics etc. Just right click on it, and choose Update driver software.


When update driver software screen opens Choose Search automatically for driver software As shown bellow image.


This will search for available updated driver from windows update and install it after complete simply Restart the windows. Also update other drivers like check on all installed drivers if you find any driver listed with yellow mark tingle then this driver is not working properly, then you have to update the installed driver or just reinstall the Driver. or you can visit manufacturer website to Get latest updated driver for it.

Use Rollback option 

If after install latest driver you face this blue screen then you can use Rollback option to Rollback your installed driver software to previous version. To use this option move to Device manager windows from Win + R type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. On device manger screen select the problematic device right click on it and select properties. Now on selected Driver properties move to Driver tab. you will find The Roll Back option.


Note : you will only find the Roll Back Driver option If you updated the driver from old version to new one.

Now Click on Roll Back Driver option this will prompt a message sure to go back to previous version of this driver. confirm with yes. now simply Restart the windows and check. if device driver is the cause behind the Unexpected_Store_Exception blue Screen then you no more face this error.

Check if all apps are installed properly

Since this is Store App Related Error you must check all windows apps installed properly, if any app not working properly or getting error then all apps are linked to windows store. so this can occur the Unexpected_Store_Exception blue Screen Error. Here fallow bellow steps to check and fix if any error occur on windows app.

First Click Win key and type Windows Powers hell. Right click on it and Select Run as administrator. When the run dialogue opens, paste the following command in it and press Enter.

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml }


wait flew moment to execute the command. After complete the process simply restart windows and check. hope you will no more face this blue screen error.

Repair Damaged Or corrupted system files 
Run the system file checker tool (SFC). This can help replace any corrupt windows file, and can be very helpful when the exception is caused by a bad system file. To run this,
click on "Start" or Windows Logo on your taskbar and search for CMD.
right-click Command Prompt from the menu and "run as administrator".
or you can Press Window + X. and click on Command Prompt (Admin).
After command prompt shows up, enter:
 sfc /scannow

This  will scan your system for all its important system files, and replace where necessary. wait untill Verification 100 % complete. After this Restart windows.

if you get windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them then try fallowing command dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

 Uninstall Recent installed Software Applications and check for virus malware 

Uninstall any third-party software and/or hardware that you may have installed recently after upgrading to Windows 10 OS. If this error started after install a new software application then this application is not compatible with your current windows or you can install a malware virus that' s why this error started here fallow bellow to fix this cause.

First, ensure you have administrative rights to make changes or uninstall any application.


 Lets Fallow the steps to Do this. First open  Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.  now select the recently installed Application and click uninstall.

Launch the installed anti-virus/malware program and let it perform a full scan to find and address any virus/malware that may be in the computer system. This will only be possible if the error takes time after starting your computer to occur.

Download Antivirus

Remove all junk files from your computer. Accumulated junk files often cause serious file conflicts that cause many errors.

Download Ccleaner

Run Disk Check Utility

Bad sectors on the disk hosting the OS can also cause the Unexpected_Store_Exception error. Run the built-in disk check to see if doing so resolves the error.

 Press shortcut key Win + X , and click on Command Prompt (Admin).
 In the command prompt window, type chkdsk c: /f /r /x command and press Enter key.

Tip: CHKDSK is the short of Check Disk, C: is the drive letter you want to check, /F means fix disk errors and /R stands for recover information from bad sectors and x for dismount the disk )


When it prompt "Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)". Answer Yes to that question by pressing the Y key on your keyboard and press Enter. Restart your computer.


 After restarting, the disk checking operation should start. Wait until Windows check your disk for errors.
