#AskHR: New Year Resolutions for Happy Recruiting in 2016
As we start with 2016, we reached out to our users asking them about their New Year Resolution for Happy Recruiting in 2016. Here is what they have to say:

1. Lower down Attrition Rate

“Our new year resolution is to make sure the attrition rate of the companies (our clients) is reduced. For this we need to find the right candidates that match the organisation culture. This leads to a happy employee as well as a happy employer which in turn generates more profits.”

- Sneha Sahjwani, Founder at Right Staff

2. Promote Resources having lower visibility

“As a new year resolution, we intend to focus our goal into mining resources with lower academic record, showcase them to the various opportunities we can create for them with the variety of skill set that suit them. The skills would focus on the mushrooming sectors of today like e-commerce, retail, real estate etc.”

- Priya Bhargava, Director at Shelby Management

3. Hire lots of Manpower

“I want to hire lots of manpower (freshers) for my company in the year 2016. We are also focusing on increasing leadership positions. I want to achieve my company’s requirement by keeping myself updated with all recruitment resources.”

- Kanchan Bajpai, HR at Guiness Insurance Broking Services

4. Hire in Less Time & in Less Cost

“I would like to have more systematic recruitment in lesser time with lesser cost involved. Optimized utilisation of available resources plus discovering new resources to maximise the scope of getting right talent at targeted time. I am more passionate, enthusiastic to achieve the targeted success and would like to target self prior to any employee leaving the organisation, keeping possible alternate ready.”

- Shilpa Mane, Sr Manager HR at Kiran Gems

5. Make team size double the present

“This year we are planning to expand our team size by 100% of the present size. We need to focus on the effective utilization of the existing database & keep record of active job seekers. In 2016, we are going to increase usage of social media than ever before.”

- Mohammed Rabidheen, Managing Partner at Esteem HR Solutions

6. Increase Networking and Social Presence

“For 2016, we are targeting to increase Sr. Management & C-Suite closures by 50%. We are willing to tie-up with a couple of Fortune 500 companies. And also exploring the opportunities to work for top UAE companies. For this we need to focus on networking, increase social media exposure and use better technologies for hiring!”

- Giri Krishnan, CEO at Futures & Careers

7. Providing 100% client Satisfaction

“We are preparing ourselves to serve our clients with the best of our efforts that can turn into 100% client satisfaction. Our leadership team and subject matter experts are completely focused to provide best services in the industry.”

- Payal Kothari, Research Executive at Aerizo Group

8. Providing training to prospective candidates

“In 2016, we are planning to start giving on the job training to the candidates, so that they will get good job and perform better. We are going to give training to all the fresher candidates who registered with 2 Ace Solutions.

- Priya Sawhny, HR Head at 2 ACE Solutions

9. Increase Job Opportunities for Candidates

“I am going to hire those candidates who are consistent and who can handle pressure. I am eager to enhance job opportunities for candidates and minimize cost per hire. We are also looking to explore and hire good consultancies for proper scrutiny of candidates.”

- Ambika Yadav, Client Servicing at On Events and Promotions

10. Serve Clients with Love and Care

“In 2016, we are preparing ourselves to introduce ‘Serve Love’ factor. With this we are trying to move away from just providing services. Till now we had a tendency to want to accelerate our growth in business. At times, it has decreased the rate of customer satisfaction. With ‘Serve Love’ factor we are looking to cater our customers with love and care.”

- Midhun Sebestian, Founder at Thavern Consultants

We at Applicant Tracking System wishes good luck to all these people, in achieving their New Year resolutions and targets for 2016. For a Happy Recruiting 2016, we urge all HRs/Recruiters to implement an online recruitment management tool within their organisation to recruit large number of people in lesser time and at minimal cost.
