kPoint and Ednexa help students in Naxalite affected regions

Education is a necessity of life. Sometimes social instability is a threat to conventional Education affecting citizens’ rights. A major hit to education is in the Naxalite affected regions where the Naxals have disrupted education by blowing up school buildings and threatening teachers. Imparting knowledge in such areas is a major challenge. Online education has harnessed the power of the Internet to provide quality education to all in need, barring geographical, financial and social constraints.

Pune-based Ednexa effectively used Kpoint to deliver successful online education overcoming these challenges. Ednexa created the course content over kPoint, and distributed them as video kapsules to over 12000 students based in over 10 districts. Students can now access these kapsules from remote locations using their computers and smart phones with internet connections. They are able to go back and forth in these kapsules at their own pace, post questions and also interact with the faculty. Through kPoint, Ednexa can provide guidance and study material from the best professors across India at the student’s fingertips.

On this occasion, Nikhil Bandiwadekar, Founder of Ednexa, said, “EDNEXA has brought expertise from professors across India to students who might not be able to physically reach out or want to get educated at their own pace. Online learning via Kpoint Web Classrooms and webinars enables our students to access expert tutors at EDNEXA in a very affordable and accessible way. This campaign has given our team a different level of satisfaction. Through kPoint we have been able to deliver value and touch student’s lives!”
