On the heels of Father’s Day, we’re Excited to share a sweet story from one very excited Spokeo customer!

Janiece had gone twenty years without knowing her father. She had many unanswered questions. “What does he look like? Is he alive? Does he think of me?” She’d tried a few different sites before signing up with Spokeo, and they simply didn’t deliver. It was Spokeo that was finally able to guide her on the path to answering these lifelong questions.

Her first search on the site led her to her biological grandmother. Janiece reached out to the woman who could finally help her make this important connection, and she was able to get in touch with her father soon after! Approaching this new relationship carefully, they spoke on the phone a few times so that they could get to know each other.

“It felt so good talking to him and I found out that we had so much in common. My father and I are both really goofy, have the same favorite color, and are mirror images of each other. I was happy to discover that I am also an older sister to a younger brother and sister.”

Janiece and her father made plans to meet in early April since they lived three hours away from each other. No words could express how excited and nervous she was when the day finally came. Her dreams became a reality, and after hours talking on the phone, they finally met face-to-face. She also met her grandparents for the first time that day too. They spent the day catching up, hanging out, and taking lots of pictures.
