There are some days when I truly think to myself, if we just airdropped legos onto enemy countries I am pretty sure we would end all wars.
Seriously. Just imagine it. Children would do what they do best and start to build and create and be happy and adults would step on rogue legos rendering them completely helpless and incapable of fighting. Boom. World problems solved… I have a sneaking suspicion theres a reason I never went into politics…
But honestly, for any human who has ever stepped on a lego, or a block, or a barbie brush… (the list goes on) You have probably thought to yourself, “There HAS to be a better way!!!”
Well I’m here to tell you, there is.
And it comes in the form of this ingenious Toy Sack by Ava and Neve Collective.
All of their products are truly absolutely adorable but for me this one really takes the cake!
It is a sack that holds all of Reef’s toys and then opens up to a play mat, and frankly, this is incredible for multiple reasons:
- It’s a convenient way to carry his toys when we are on the go.
- It’s super easy to carry for any walking little one.
- It keeps everything in order while he is playing with them.
- It gives him something to sit on and play if we are somewhere that I may not want him directly on the ground.
- Cleanup is a breeeeeze!!
- And from a design perspective, the patterns are gorgeous!
And one more thing that I love about this company, the owners. It is a little company started by two gorgeous friends (Martina & Narelle) that love beautiful fabric and creativity.
Personally, I’ve also found them to be very nice and approachable and they seem incredibly open to being contacted directly to discuss anything from a fabric you just have to have, to design inspiration and collaborations.
Lastly, Martina’s grandmother was a seamstress in World Ward II and since my Meema was also a seamstress this really tugs at my heartstrings!! (Ok that’s a really personal one, but how could you not want to support that??)
