Make a banner to Decorate your space with love. Grab some construction paper, clothespins, and twine and get to work! All you need to do is write a message on cut squares or triangles, even hearts! Try “LOVE” “VALENTINE” or “BE MINE”. You can use glitter, stickers, or anything you have on hand to amp it up. Try adding washi tape for straighter lines and fun patterns Take some clothespins, draw some cupid arrows, and clip onto the paper and string to finish the fun off! The string could be bakers twine, ribbon, yarn, or anything else you have on hand!

Cards

The most iconic part of Valentine’s Day is the valentine, or loving card you give to someone. Get creative and make some of your own for less! Use dainty doilies and fold them in unique ways to create origami. Write a message on the origami and you’re good to go! This dress is very good for fashionable friends, but making a heart is perfect for someone you love. Decorate with papers and markers, the real creativity is in the fold.

Food

Let’s be honest, the food is the best part of Valentine’s Day! Get in the kitchen and whip up some festive treats.

For a quicker sweet, make some red velvet brownies. Your normal brownies just got the festive upgrade with copious amounts of red food color! Everything is better when it’s red!

If you are feeling more ambitious, take on a decorative, gourmet romantic cupcake. Mixing champagne and raspberries is delicious and seasonally appropriate. Decorate with icing roses and raspberries and dusting sugar for the daintiest touch.
