Chuck Rock Game Comparison

Chuck Rock is a side-scrolling platformer, designed by Robert Churchill and first released in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST by the brilliant Core Design. The game features our belly bouncing and rock chucking hero called Chuck Rock and is set in the prehistoric stone-age era from a time when neandrathals, saber-tooth tigers, dinosaurs and woolly mammoths walked our earth.

In the game, Chuck Rock begins each level with his catchphrase ‘Unga Bunga’, he even has his own rock band with his fellow cavemen and his wife Ophella Rock. And in the usual storyline of 80’s and 90’s platformers, Ophella is captured by the local bully, Gary Gritter…. oh dear, for our friends outside of the UK, that name is a play on the shamed ex popstar Gary Glitter, and I won’t be talking anymore about that!
