It’s been documented for a while that Playstation will be launching a premium tier to their PS Plus subscription to rival the successful Xbox Game Pass.

Normally this is something we wouldn’t cover as we are all about retro gaming! But it seems as though 340 retro games are being added to this service, from PS1, PS2 and PSP games, and also there will be the ability to stream PS3 titles too.

PlayStation is yet to confirm the titles, but some of the titles have already leaked ahead of schedule (Not confirmed. The titles include Tekken 2, Worms Armageddon, Worms World Party and Mr.Driller for the original PlayStation, alongside Ridge Racer 2 for Sony PSP.

This all comes courtesy of Reddit user, the_andshrew who spotted the games and Eurogamer reported this.

The new premium PlayStation Plus service will cost users $119.99 per year, and as well as the 340 retro games on offer, will also offer 400 PS4 and PS5 titles too. The service is rumoured to launch in Asia on May 23rd, 2022 and will likely launch in he US and Europe soon after.
