Return to Monkey Island Coming in 2022

The legendary Monkey Island is to return later in 2022 with the appropriately named Return to Monkey Island. Creator Ron Gilbert and writer Dave Grossman are returning again, in the first release in the series since the 2009 Tales of Monkey Island.
Gilbert’s Toybox studio are developing the game, along with Digital and Lucasfilm Games, which Disney resurrected in 2021.
The trailer below doesn’t give much away into the games storyline, but it’s quite fitting on the week of the release of a first Amiga computer in 29 years!
This is the sixth installment of a Monkey Island game, continuing from the ending of LeChuck’s Revenge.
