Best Easter Gifts for Kids During COVID

Choosing Easter Gifts for kids can already be a challenging ordeal, with parents not always knowing what is popular or “hip” for kids these days. Also, this year more than ever, you want to avoid a miff of a Gift, so it is important to remember what you get and how it might be useful for your kid during Coronavirus

Some New Jewelry or Accessories for Your Young Lady

It is usually a safe bet to get clothes or accessories for your young lady for a holiday, but it is essential to remember that she might not be wearing them as often as she usually would. To get the most use out of a holiday gift, aim for earrings, necklaces, or hairpins that your child could show off whether they are in person or digital.

If you have younger children who don’t mind being cute, feel free to get them some bunny ears to wear. A few pictures of your child wearing those will be a precious reminder for years to come and help introduce a little normalcy back into your life.

Candy is Always a Winner

It should come as no surprise to anyone that no matter how the world around them changes, the beauty of candy is eternal (because, after all, don’t adults love candy and sweets too). Here is a shortlist of some Easter gifts for kids that come in a delightfully sweet and edible form:

  • Reese’s Easter eggs are a must! Unless, of course, you have a peanut allergy.
  • Jelly beans make for a fantastic sweet treat for kids, and they always enjoy the various colors and flavors.
  • Chocolate Easter bunnies make for a nice treat as well. Be sure to get one that is size appropriate for your child’s age, so the caffeine and sugar don’t overly energize them.
  • You could even do some cookies or homemade treats for them or with them. They will be sure to doubly enjoy anything they make themselves.

Fluffy and Comfy Things

Younger children are at that perfect age to happily receive gifts like stuffed animals and fluffy toys. You should try and avoid getting them a one-piece bunny suit similar to the one in A Christmas Story, but there are still some tactful gifts they could enjoy for the rest of the year.

One good gift would be a soft, fluffy blanket. Some excellent small blankets or throw blankets for children under $20 could be found on Amazon or in a local store.

Another good gift could be a stuffed animal. A stuffed bunny to cuddle or snuggle up to at night could see years of use before it is “put out to pasture,” so to speak.

A final thought when getting your kids a gift is to make sure you know what they enjoy. If your child is outgoing and loves showing off their gifts to others, maybe get them some clothes or jewelry to show off to their friends, but if they like candy or sweets, then perhaps make most of their basket something edible for them to enjoy.
