A wealthy friend had one of these. We played Mortal Kombat on it even though his parents specifically said we couldn’t. We did and drank Jolt or Surge soda all night. I think we maybe even ordered a Bigfoot pizza. Nice.

I was gifted something similar, but with a massive wood frame, for my first apartment out of high school. Ended up just having to talk the maintenance guy into keeping it for free because it was too much of a bitch to move.

I used to deliver TVs for a while and we would often cart these away for free and trash them if the customer didn’t want them.

So many of them had the Fox News logo burned into the screen from the OJ Simpson trial.

My mom still uses this as her main tv in the house despite us also owning multiple 4K TV’s. All she does is watch Law & Order SVU and alien conspiracy shows so to her the picture quality doesn’t matter.
