2018 Dodge Challenger Configurations, Choose Yours!

Since the reintroduction of the Challenger, one of the most legendary sports cars from America’s muscle era, it’s been a hot commodity. 2018 Dodge Challenger configurations don’t disappoint and continue to provide muscle in its most modern form. We’ve put together the highlights on each of the 2018 Challenger trims, so you can be a pro when you come down to Planet Dodge to test drive your favorite Dodge car today!

SXT

With a beefy 305-HP Pentastar V6 Engine, the SXT makes no compromises in this incredibly affordable base package. Uconnect 5.0 dash console and dual-zone temperature control complement the 1971-inspired front end and stylish dual bright exhaust tips.

SXT Plus

Upgrading the dash unit to Uconnect 8.4 on the SXT Plus gives you a bigger display and easier access to your favorite SiriusXM stations. ParkSense reverse parking assistant will help ensure you don’t scuff the 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, and heated/ventilated Nappa leather-trimmed seats will put you in the lap of luxury

R/T

The R/T package is the most affordable configuration outfitted with the legendary 5.7L HEMI V8 Engine, with a whopping 375-HP. Ride in style on 20-inch premium painted aluminum wheels while you shift gears your way, on available six-speed manual or class-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic.

GT All-Wheel Drive

Breaking with traditionality on this classic model in the most practical way, this 2018 Challenger trim package, the GT All-Wheel Drive, is America’s first and only all-wheel drive muscle coupe. Drive with the confidence that AWD brings, through improved handling, cornering, and overall control of the power distribution to the tires.

R/T Plus

Adding style and convenience to the Hemi found on the R/T package, the R/T Plus packs in the Uconnect 8.4 touchscreen and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Alongside the upgraded entertainment features are available heated/ventilated Nappa leather-trimmed performance seats and satin silver trim Accents.

R/T Shaker

The first of the true “fan service” new Dodge Challenger trims, the R/T Shaker is a must for muscle car enthusiasts. Not only is the hood fitted with the iconic SHAKER Hood, but it’s also backed up with a Mopar cold air intake with conical air filtration. Satin black accents are found on the fuel door, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and the split grille is adorned with a gloss black finish.

T/A

This trim package offers the power and reputation associated with 5.7L HEMI while adding heritage styling and flair to make this Challenger stand out from the rest. A satin black painted hood and standard active exhaust will keep heads turning, and pay tribute to the Challengers of the ‘70s in possibly the coolest way.

R/T Scat Pack

Stepping up to the R/T Scat Pack, you’re greeted by the 6.4L 392 HEMI V8 and a whopping 485-HP rating. Aggressive performance front splitter, satin black rear spoiler, and Scat Pack Grille badging allow you to flex in style, with this downright mean Challenger configuration.

R/T Plus Shaker

Building on the premium features found on the R/T Plus, like 20-inch Wheels and Nappa leather-trimmed performance front seats, the R/T Plus Shaker throws the classic SHAKER Hood and Mopar cold air intake on the hood, helping you squeeze more out of the mighty 5.7L HEMI underneath.

T/A Plus

Featuring the iconic Heritage Style that harkens to Challengers roots in America, the T/A Plus shares specifications with it’s subordinate, but upgrades the paint job for added visual pop. The T/A features the Yellow Jacket exterior paint, while the Plus is coated in a hot Go Mango burnt orange.

392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker

Upgrading the Scat Pack trim package even further, the 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker takes this Challenger to the next level in performance handling and braking. Featuring the SHAKER Hood, you also have available high-performance suspension with Bilstein shocks and performance Brembo four-piston brakes.

T/A 392

Improving on the already visually stunning T/A configuration, the T/A 392 packs in the 6.4L HEMI at its whopping 485-HP. Standard six-piston Brembo brakes will help you bring the lightweight forged aluminum wheels to a stop at your whim. Available Pirelli tires will give you added control and grip, helping you control this beast with ease.

SRT 392

As most in the automotive world know, SRT means business. Touting the previously described 392 HEMI V8, the SRT 392 is outfitted with the SRT Performance Package. This package includes driver configuration modes to adjust suspension, engine, transmission, and steering response, in addition to Launch Control. Visual SRT adornments and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon Audio System put the inside on par with the outside and make this a well-rounded option for performance nuts.

SRT Hellcat

The big man on campus, the SRT Hellcat has done what no other production muscle coup can - break 700-HP stock, with 650 LB-FT of Torque. High-Performance Bilstein Adaptive Dampening Suspension and 15.4-inch Vented/Slotted Rotors with six-piston Brembo Brakes will help you control the Supercharged 6.2L HEMI SRT V8 with confidence. Also outfitted with the SRT Performance Package, the Hellcat features the best of the best that the 2018 Dodge Challenger has to offer.

SRT Hellcat Widebody

In addition to the Hellcat, Dodge is also offering a Widebody version. This version has the same powerful engine, but is transformed into a racing machine thanks to 20x11-inch aluminum wheels that are equipped with Perelli all-season tires and widebody fenders (adding 3.5 inches to the car's total width).
