The wind today was really nice, and I liked how the sun didn’t feel as hot as it usually does. Though I disliked it when everything was on sale, and I didn’t bring enough cash with me.

Maybelline was on sale, so I took advantage of it with the money I had with me. And yes, I forgot that it’s holiday so there would be a lot of upcoming sales.

Since I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about ThePowderMattes Lipsticks as well as their COLORsensational. I bought two Powder Matte and one Color Sensational lipsticks.

NU10 is COLORsensational lipstick while Touch of Nude and Almond Pink are ThePowderMattes

The texture of this lipstick is the same as the ordinary glossy cream lipsticks that I buy. But, it feels somewhat weird to me since Maybelline lipsticks don’t have any scent to it and I got used to having scents on my lipsticks.

What I also like about this lipstick is that my lips feels really moisturize after applying it and it doesn’t feel heavy on my lips.

Here’s the swatch of COLORsensational in the shade of NU10.

In all honesty, I don’t fancy nude lipsticks because it makes me look really pale, but I’m surprised that Maybelline’s Touch of Nude didn’t make me look like a vampire just sucked the life out of me.

Last but not the least, the Almond Pink.

This shade is similar to mauve lipsticks. Another note about Maybelline ThePowderMattes is that it does feel somewhat powdery when you first apply it, but it’ll feel light after it sets on your lips and it doesn’t feel sticky even after having it slightly wet.

And, it also stays longer on your lips without having to reapply it. I like these lipsticks, and I might have to buy the other shades as well.
