Exfoliate Your Lips
If you have really dry lips, exfoliate them before applying your lipstick. For example, you can use your toothbrush and gently scrub your lips for a minute. Don't tug at your lips! If you need more intense exfoliation, you can prepare a natural scrub with ingredients that you probably have at home:
- 1 part coconut oil
- 2 parts sugar
- 1 part honey
Mix all the ingredients together and store in a container in a fridge. It can last for a month. Use it once a week and apply on your lips, rubbing them in a circular motion. Honey and coconut oil hydrate and moisturize your lips while sugar scrubs them. And this thing smells amazing, too!
