Leadership is one of the important skills for managers which help in his personal growth as
well benefits the firm. Adler (1999) states “A successful manager is the one who leads firm
through rough and thin while demonstrating his skills and leading from front”.
Leadership qualities are the characteristics of an individual to accomplish the task or achieve the target
with different skills with tactful guidance and support (Boak and Coolican, 2004). This
definition covers the broad aspect of the leadership skills which could be utilised by firms
engaged in achieving purposed mission.
Leadership model is like a giant wheel of bicycle which has many cogs. Similarly leaders have to perform various activities at a time or various times in organisation. This is crucial in every sector which requires high standards and fulfil customer expectation. This fundamental model could be utilised for analysing the errors and problems within firm and consider various solution for them.
