In recent years, there are some webmasters who have made suggestions that the links are replaced by social cues as a signal of quality for the Google ranking algorithm.

One of the debates and in the SEO world that is growing right now (especially because of the Panda and updates to the penguin) is against the signs of social ties.

Sullivan asked, "Are the links still work, or are social sharing replace them?"

Cutts, admits that "are not necessarily the best signal quality at the time."

Links do not care, but no links to entire sites.
